Privacy Policy

Draft notice: this policy was written directly from what Coachfio's code actually does - what data it stores, which third parties it sends data to, how deletion works. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have it reviewed before relying on it for legal compliance.

What we collect

Account information: the email address and display name you sign up with, an optional avatar, your chosen skill level and control scheme, answers to the skill survey, and (if you connect as a coach) your coach profile and a practice checklist you keep.

Match footage and analysis: the match video you upload, and everything Coachfio's AI derives from it - a written coaching report, timestamped events and moments, and performance metrics. Video is analysed by Google's Gemini API as part of generating your report.

Usage and feedback: how many matches you've analysed (to enforce the free-tier limit), and any star rating or written feedback you leave on a report.

Coaching relationships: if you connect with a coach or player, the connection itself and whether you've chosen to share reports with them, plus any chat messages you exchange with them inside the product.

We do not collect payment information - Coachfio does not currently process payments.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run Coachfio, and don't sell your data to anyone:

Supabase - handles sign-in (including sending sign-in-link emails) and, depending on how this deployment is configured, may host the underlying database.

Google (Gemini API) - your uploaded match video is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the coaching analysis. Google's own terms govern how it handles that request.

Google Analytics - if enabled on this deployment, we use it to understand aggregate site usage. See the cookie notice wherever this is active.

How long we keep it

An uploaded match - its video, report, and derived data - is kept until you delete it, which you can do at any time from your reports; deleting a match removes the video and everything derived from it. Account-level information (your profile, sign-in identity) does not currently have a self-service deletion option - email us at godevlabagency@gmail.com to request your account be deleted.

Cookies

Coachfio uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in - it doesn't work for tracking or advertising. If Google Analytics is active on this deployment, it sets additional cookies to measure site usage; a cookie notice will appear when that's the case.

Children

Coachfio is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
